spatial awareness or lack thereof of students here

is it just me or do people at this school have ZERO spatial awareness? WHY are people just stopping in the middle of a busy, narrow hallway or walking at a glacial pace on their phones in the middle of the pavement at peak foot-traffic time? It genuinely seems like they aren't aware that people are trying to get places, and quickly. Has anyone else felt this or am I just irritable?
