Sterilized, BUT…

28F here. Obviously, a huge if not monumental amount of us are extremely worried about the election, and RIGHTFULLY FUCKING SO.

With that being said, I’m thoroughly fortunate for having gotten sterilized back in 2019, albeit the battle of finding a doctor to do it was a pain in the ass.

HOWEVER.

I am not more prone to an ectopic pregnancy. Despite ectopic pregnancies being 100% NON-VIABLE some states won’t permit the LIFE SAVING SURGERY.

I’m sure everyone knows but just in case, an ectopic pregnancy is when an egg is fertilized by sperm and the fetus develops outside the uterus. This is usually a fallopian tube but I recently found out it can be anywhere in the female human body. Heard this year a woman was unfortunate enough to have one grow on her fucking LIVER.

Due to my tubes being cut and removed, I have a more increased risk of having a fallopian ectopic pregnancy. Which means, if 20 fucking 25 comes to fruition, I. Am. Fucked if my home state doesn’t consider it a life-saving procedure.

Additionally, due to my awful ovarian cysts, I’m worried about my access to my BC patches to keep my cysts at bay. If it’s taken away, my ovaries can produce cysts large enough to twist and kill my ovary and possibly make me septic.
