New Bike Lanes on Augusta

Hi I just joined this group. New to the city and have been riding my bike for 6ish months.

I live on Augusta and at first was pumped to see the barricaded bike lanes put in, pulling cars of the curb and giving us a safer space. But, as I’ve been riding them, it feels like cars pulling onto the street legit can’t see who’s coming unless they pull out too far. Been in several small accidents and a bunch of near misses because of that. I’m all for safety, but feels like an overcorrection.

Curious if anyone else is running into this!
