Zoe in Yellow land

Anyone here long enough to remember the area before Zoe and Yellow took the place over?

There was lots of different area wooden bars with fires going in the winter time, lots of trees some with swings, it was chilled and relaxed mostly reggae theme but there was also some other good bars with alternative music playing, a good atmosphere with people of all ages enjoying themselves.

Back in the day we might of thought that the reggae area was a bit cheesy with “Krusty” backpackers but it was exotic and nothing like you’d get back home. Now with Zoe and yellow and the other bars that followed blaring the commercial generic night club music it’s totally lost its charm. I mean, standing out side Zoe in Yellow chatting to someone with a drink feels exactly like your outside on the street after a night club in Leeds city centre or any other European city centre.

Just wanted a little rant about that.

Has anyone have any nice memories of the area, I’d like to hear them.
