Speaker Mike Johnson suggests 'conditions' needed on disaster aid for LA wildfires
I'm curious what the conservatives in here think about this (what few of us there are).
Personally I think this is really disgusting. For sure there needs to be some accountability for californias leadership failures but this is absolutely not the way.
Tie it to some other funding whatever but the idea that we would not help out our fellow Americans who are suffering because of what their shitty politicians did is just unamerican. Give them aid now and we can figure out the fix later. Right now people are hurting. We damn sure wouldn't be having this conversation if it was a red state.
