Is there a job that is demanding both physically and mentally?

I have noticed that most jobs are separated in 2 categories: executioner and commander. It seems that all physical jobs fall in the first spectre and even if many mental white collar jobs can still fall in this category it seems however that all jobs where you actually have to actually think are purely sedentary.

I like to be challenged both physically and mentally. Is there a job that combines the two of them?
