Worth Getting VSC on 2020 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition?

Hey, As the title says, preparing to purchase a 2020 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition from a Honda dealership. The dealer does not use HondaCare. They use Ethos Group VSC for their extended warranties. The VSC does not have a contract agreement in the paperwork I am reviewing and the dealer only indicated that the basic plan covered mechanical and electrical issues for 7 years/100,000 miles. The basic plan costs approximately 4200 with tax. There's no good information on the EG website, but they seem to have less complaints than Endurance VSC.

Has anyone utilized this extended warranty group?

I know they will likely blame any failures on wear and tear that is not covered. Am I overthinking the need for a VSC on the Ridgeline? We plan to keep it for 5+, less than 5k miles a year and towing ~2000lb a few times a year.
