Birthday Trip to BC-Alberta

My boyfriend wants me to choose where I’d like to go on my birthday and had suggested BC-Alberta. I think it’s a great idea, but I’m not sure what to actually do there. We’re staying for about 5-6 days. We’re both very outdoorsy and would prefer anything that involves hiking, swimming, or just chilling in a cabin.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
