Playoff seeding question

I know the one seed is highly unlikely, as the Bills have to win two and the Chiefs have to lose two, for that to occur. My question is what exactly has to be done to insure the two seed for Buffalo? Is there any chance that the starters would have to play both of the next two weeks to get the 2? Sorry I'm a dope at this stuff.
