We Should PROMOTE Bowels

Todd Bowles knows defense. Clock management, execution, etc, not so much. But I don't think he needs to see the door as a lot of expertise and knowledge will leave with him, too.

It's possible to promote Bowles to a different role within the organization, like a senior advisor or a defensive consultant, allowing him to use his strengths without the day to day head coach responsibilities.

That way, Liam Coen could step up as the head coach without losing Bowles' defensive mind, and he would get to focus on bringing in the new blood while having a soft retirement. Let someone else handle head coach duties while Bowles does what he’s great at. Didn't he say he wanted to watch his son play?

It would depend on the team's structure and Bowles willingness, but it's possible to maintain continuity and capitalize on both coaches strengths.

I'm sure he's tired of always being on the hot seat and the fans coming for his head.
