RIP Junior - homeless man Brisbane on Creek Street - what happened?

Does anyone know what happened to the homeless man that used to sleep on a bench just past the ANZ building in Brisbane? There is now a sign saying ‘RIP Junior’ with flowers and small gifts dedicated to him.
