When did your nipples stop being sore?

I’m 5 weeks pp and nipples are still pretty sore when my babe latches. Is there a point when your nipples get used to it?

My breastfeeding journey has been up and down so far - had damaged nipples and needed to exclusively pump for a bit - but pretty much exclusively nursing now. Think we’re finally getting the hang of things! Just wondering if there was a point when your nipples kinda “toughened up.” I’m wearing silverettes almost 24/7 and just generally have a lot of tenderness.
