Is The Favorites worth picking up?

I wasn’t really interested in this pick, but it has such high ratings on Goodreads and I’ve seen a lot of positive buzz for it here and elsewhere. What did everyone think (no spoilers please!)?

Edit: y’all have convinced me to snag it! I’m gonna predict it will be a 3.5 or 4 star read for me.
