What happened to Karan Johar the director?? I can't believe he is the same director who made Kuch Kuch hota hai or K3G!!
What has happened to his directorial work???? I can't believe he is the same director who made Kuch Kuch hota hai and K3G before...even Kabhi alvida na kehna was such a bold and nice movie...now he makes shit movies...He was a good director... He was as iconic as Sanjay Leela bhanshali in 2000's... He had signature movies of him... Like Sanjay Leela has movies which has great sets, grandeur, lehengas , beautiful graphics,over the top story and acting. Karan johar movies used to have beautiful songs , beautiful big casts and most importantly his movies used to be emotion driven...though storylines were simple Feelings were portrayed so beautifully in his movies..... Emotions made his movies so magical and iconic....
Like Kuch Kuch hota hai was a simple storyline , but the cast ,music and emotion made it the iconic it is....!! The Srk Kajol chemistry , the whole storyline with Srk Rani and Salman kajol made it so beautiful and masterpiece. The story had heart.
Even K3G was a simple story but he made the movie so iconic with iconic cast and characters and music. He was the one who could bring three generations of superstars together : Amitabh Jaya , Srk Kajol, Hrithik-Kareena in one frame. All the characters had their own role and they rocked it.
Kabhi alvida na kehna also had a very serious topic which was a bold move. But it was still beautiful as emotions were shown beautifully. Srk Rani chemistry. It was shown how important is chemistry and bond in terms of marriage. What happens if it isn't in one marriage.

Yet he makes movies like Kalank, Soty 1, Soty 2 ,Rocky aur Rani ki prem kahani which has no soul nor heart... Sanjay Leela bhanshali still makes movies like he used to do before... But Karan has totally lost the plot...Last good movie which had soul he made was Ae Dil hai mushkil , it had flaws but it had emotions...other than even I found Soty 1 very boring... Soty 2 was bad ....Rocky rani aur Prem Kahani was average good movie....but these are nothing worth remembering like K3G or Kuch Kuch hota hai which we still love .... I doubt anyone will remember Rarkpk in future......he could make beautiful movies like before by casting Ranbir,Alia ,Deepika Padukone ,Ranveer Singh ,Shahid Kapoor , Kiara Advani, Tripti Dimri , Shahrukh Khan . What is he doing??? Casting all these untalented Nepos in his movies and ruining his own legacy of a director.... !!!
