What games do you enjoy playing with your parents or grandparents?
I've successfully introduced my mother (now aged 63) to the world of board games a few years back. Her first was Qwirkle, and her collection has grown beautifully since, featuring Axio Rota, Azul, Kwatro, Punto, Qwirkle, Rummikub, Tantrix, Word Bits, and Word Winder, plus two games that I've designed. At the moment, Rummikub is the family favorite, even engaging my 82-year-old grandmother, who I haven't played games with since the days we enjoyed a traditional Hungarian card game in my childhood. I'm currently contemplating the next board game to introduce to them, aiming to diversify our gaming experiences beyond the ongoing dominance of Rummikub. What works well for you and your family?
