Matchmaking has been terrible

This isn’t a blanket it always sucks post but I’ve been noticing the lobby will start filling up after a couple minutes. Then with a full lobby it will start the countdown at which point half the players suddenly leave and everything starts over. This will happen several times over and not sure what’s going on and if just bad luck or what. Anyone else having this issue?
