AstraZeneca

Hey everyone!

I applied for the AstraZeneca bioscience graduate scheme on a whim and I have been given an assessment to do. Its a UK based role where you are offered 3x 8 month long placements in drug discovery, various therapies, and development. I graduated a couple years ago and have since worked in forensics for just under a year and at a medical device start up company where I have learned a lot. Getting to the point, I was wondering if it’s worth doing a graduate program when I already have R&D experience (I am a research scientist in a decent leadership position) or if its worth taking the leap and learning these super interesting fields I have 0 experience in (no idea what the current climate of these fields are and if they’re worth getting into). To make things more contextualised the pay is pretty much the same but Id be relocating from Oxford to Cambridge.

Thanks!!
