Follow through on your stroke

I see so many people at league who poke at the cue ball and amost never follows through. Kind in mind, that as a general rule, you should follow through on your shots, you will find your game improves; I was taught that your cue tip should end up 6-8" in front of where your cue ball was!

PS - When you throw a baseball, football, swing a golf club... almost any sport, you wouldn't try to stop your hand mid-throw would you? Stroke through!
