Doing part of the series
Hi, 56 M here I have first started doing Bikrams yoga as a teenager in the early 80s from the book and I had done the complete series for a good six months stretch. I am now getting back into yoga and I wanted to ask if I can limit myself to just the first half of the series, the standing poses because I do another series of poses in the morning which I have learnt also at the same time and which are from the lying down position so I feel there’s no need to repeat them again in the afternoon when I do that (neither do I have the time) because to be honest I don’t believe in any of this hot yoga business which he started much later in the 80s. It was just simple Bikrams yoga and as a personality, I don’t buy into all the minute details of what is right and what is wrong. I listen to myself and see what is doable for me. So in your experiences would you say that this set up if I follow it would not be a problem? I just wanted to get your opinions. Thank you.
