Daughter got Bettas... wild question here.

My 12 year old daughter is a straight A student who has researched getting fish thoroughly. With her own saved money she bought a kit from Petsmart (tank, heater, filter, etc) and from research bought a declorinator, conditioner, etc. She let the tank run for a day and we got 3 female bettas today.

Here's the issue. One of them, Disco, is exhibited some weird behavior. Lots of troublesome jumping. She jumped up and got caught between the glass and thermometer (moved that). Then, as the family watched, she also jumped, hit the dry glass above the water and freaking stuck there.

Has anyone seen this?!?!?! She STUCK TO THE GLASS. I'm a bit worried that my daughter's Betta is going to accidentally off itself within the first 48 hours of it's existence in the house.

Any advice? Anyone see a fish stuck to the tank?
