Aquarium medication

Cycling my aquarium and preparing for a new betta. I just ordered the api master kit for fresh water. I want to stock up on essential medications before getting the fish. What should I have on hand? I’ll have Indian almond leaves to help with disease prevention. Sadly, I lost my last betta after just over two months , November 22,2024
