love to strokes’ silk kiss
I have extremely dry lips — and when I say dry, I mean my lips chap up within three or four hours if I don’t have anything moisturizing on it. Regardless of whether I drank 8 glasses a day or used chapstick, I grew up this way.
Now that I’m more aware of lip products in the market, I’ve learned to use products that are not occlusive, and lippies that are not drying. The main products that worked for me are:
A’pieu’s Lip Oil — perfect lip oil and topper for me; my lips do not dry at all. Though when they start to chap, I have to re-apply at least every four hours.
Sunnies Lip Glaze — I know this is a very frowned upon brand here, but I’m still saving up for Rhode 😭 for me, the glaze does its job as an overnight treatment.
I’ve recently ran out of my A’pieu, and almost all of it online are shipped from SK. I didn’t want to wait, so per my close friend’s recommendation, I tried Strokes’ tinted lip oil.
And I……LOVEEE it!
The packaging is luxe, the tint is pretty — and the moisture is definitely there. I would even say it’s more moisturizing than A’pieu 😩 it works as a topper beautifully with one layer. I usually wear it on top of my EH Fixing Tint or Absidy Cashmere Kiss. Suddenly, all of my lip products are wearable and non-drying 🥹
Definitely a 10/10, WR for me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
