Retinol thread — do’s and don’t

I can’t really find an organized do’s and don’ts when using retinol here. I know na napaguusapan naman to pero scattered sila masyado eh. So for those of you na gumagamit ng retinol, ano yung mga maibibigay nyong guide to someone who’s new to retinols? Any tips or advice?
