Purple gear scarcity in Shadows

Am I the only one who has found little to no purple drops? I've gotten a single piece of Naoe headgear thats purple rarity but nothing else. I have 22 hours and I make sure to loot pretty much everything wherever I go so I'm wondering if this is only me. I can say with confidence that the purple headgear I looted was day one so maybe this change happened due to patch notes? Curious about what you guys have to say.
