What’s so great about Kenton?

I moved to Kenton recently after receiving encouragement and excitement from other Portlanders about how they love the neighborhood. I hadn’t spent much time myself but was presented with a great opportunity. Maybe it’s just the winter, but I’m having a hard time understanding what is so great about this neighborhood? I’m afraid I made a mistake. Would love to hear people’s reflections. Thanks!
