How can I start a niche pub trivia night?

I have an idea for a fairly specific, science-themed pub trivia night that I would be interested in hosting. I think this topic would draw a lot of interest in Portland. Ideally this would be an ongoing / weekly thing.

I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for how I could get something like this going. I could organize it independently with a pub that is interested in hosting it. Or is there a way to work with an existing org that organizes pub trivia sessions? Any suggestions for how to find a place to host it?
