How would I work this out?

What is the probability of flipping tails on a coin and/or rolling a 5 on a 6 sided die?

I understand how to work it out if it was just AND (1/2 × 1/6 = 1/12), but am unsure what to do with the and/or.

If possible, explain it like you were explaining it to someone who hasn't done any schooling or paper maths for ~15years.
