What would you class as loosing your virginity?

So I recently spent the night with a guy and my friend asked me if we had sex. Technically yes but only oral and we both came.

He then asked me if that counts as loosing your virginity and I said I wasn’t sure- all the straight people I know dismiss anything other than vaginal sex to count as looking your virginity but as for gay folk, it’s much different.

I’m just wondering what people’s opinion are the topic- it’s really not that big a deal to me, I had a great night. It’s just interesting to me.
