Possible Medical Seperation

Well. Like the title says my time may be up on the line. 11B for 13 years: 6 reserves, 7 active. GWOT, Korea rotations , multiple AT and NTC. Recently just stepped out of a striker with a 65ish lb tool bag doing layouts. Felt my back “pop” like not even painful when it popped.

When I went to stand up straight I felt like I got hit by a truck. Whatever screw it, see the medic get some Tylenol. Well the next day, I couldn’t even put on my own boots. Stayed in bed on a heating pad. 0300 the following morning, ER on post.

Dr ordered CT scan. My spine is all jacked up. T1-T2 fragmentation, T4-T5 both bulging, Fracture in my T3, pinched nerves and severe degenerative disks throughout.

Bruh, I just got a 580 on my acft 4 weeks ago. I can’t even put on my damn boots. It’s like 13 years of shit slapped me at once.

I was in a HummVee rollover and couple bad things during missions for GWOT all on file that def are contributing factors. Doc says I need MRI and Medical Eval for possible separation/ Retirement. 36 years old. I’m up for SFC. Fml

I’ll take my separation AAM, VA appointment and a bag of chili Fritos.
