What's the best way to train and armwrestle with a TFCC tear?
Dw, I'll get surgery for it. But in the meantime, I want to get stronger and improve. I have significantly strengthened and improved my cup, rise, pronation, and lat drag.
My supination, posting, and side pressure have also improved but not as much. My right arm is my dominant arm and I initially thought that I'd be hooking with it but because of this TFCC tear, I now have to toproll with it instead.
I pull with a low hand toproll but sometimes I also post when necessary. I'm not sure if this is useful information but based on my height (174 cm), I have big hands with thick fingers, thick wrists, and short arms. My forearms are also significantly shorter than my upper arms.
Should I continue toprolling despite my proportions or switch to hooking despite my TFCC tear? Or go against what's "mainstream" and train and do both?
