Do I need to commit crepe murder?
I have several crepe myrtles in my yard. Last year, they were fine. This year, their growth seems to primarily be coming from suckers.
I hate to top them and turn them into crepe bushes, but do I have any other choice at this point? I’m not sure if it was a crazy freeze (I’m in 7B). We had a fast and LOW freeze in late 2022, but nothing zany this winter.
Any advice?
