Can someone explain what "Vampire Malta" is?

Played a 2v2 yesterday as Malta, a guy at the start asked me over and over if I'm a Vampire. At first I just ignored him but he kept asking, so I'm like "What?", And he says last time he played with Vampire Malta it was terrible, and if I'm going to Vampire malta just let him know so he can surrender.

It was like my first game in several months and I just came back, and I have no idea what all this new lingo is. Googled it and there's nothing. Is this actually a thing or is this guy just trolling?
