Does Customer Relations have any other forms of contact?
I have been trying to reach out to Air Canada in attempting to get a reimbursement of some sort for the whole "global outage" that happened around July 19th (where many American airliners were affected due to the whole tech outage). I've already reached out to the customer reservations help line in hopes that they could point me in the right direction but all I was told was to submit a claim and wait 3-6 weeks to get a response.
I didn't really believe them until i tried searching the internet myself and i found no numbers or anything. I've submitted a claim (twice now) and in hopes to continue to talk to someone I tried responding to their response about my claim but I've received nothing but radio silence, so i'm not even sure if they'll even respond to my response as a continuation of communication.
I'm honestly so frustrated with this system because I have never received any sort of reimbursement from this whole situation cause they deemed it "uncontrollable" and never received any "alternative options" for when my flight got cancelled. Not too mention the amount of time it has taken to even get responses back from customer relations.
Has anyone else had to deal with a situation like this? and if so how did you go about handling it? because i feel like I've tried everything.
