Operator Carrier Change?
I've flown multiple times with air canada in the past, but this is the first time I've ever received multiple emails regarding this. I originally booked a flight through air canada that travels to the US (with two connecting flights) and ever since I booked the flight I've received multiple emails saying that the "Operator carrier for this flight has change to this airliner" and so on. This flight is a small connecting flight to my final destination but for about, 3 months, I've been receiving this email notifying me about these changes and that i should check on said flight and do the recommended steps (which none of them apply to me as of making this post) or make any necessary changes. However, when i go and check on my flight Itinerary, nothing has changed and everything is still the same.
Its operated by a US airliner and it keeps "flip-flopping" between United Airlines and SkyWest United Express but nothing has changed in my itinerary. Should i be concerned about this? Has anyone else had this happen? I feel like if something had changed like times or cancelled flights i would but air canada shows no changes made to my flight itinerary. I find it strange how its only happening to the one flight in my entire trip.
