Shared space. Accepting guests with no reviews?

I am a female living alone renting one room in my house. So far, I’ve only accepted requests from those with 5 star reviews. I just received a request for 3 nights from someone with a new profile and no reviews. I am concerned about safety. In my listing, I noted that myself, my partner, and my small dog may be present in the home. However, my partner will not be here; we are doing long distance at the moment. What do you all think?
