I cancelled last minute as a background actor

I've been doing quite a lot of background acting in the past few months. I always respond to emails quite quickly and I always show up on set on time, if not early even, so I feel like I'm quite dependable. I had confirmed a shoot as a passerby on the street and the morning of, I didn't feel well. I threw up and had a really bad cold so I cancelled the morning of because I didn't want to contaminate the rest of the production (especially since covid is still a recent memory). I got a passive aggressive email back saying that cancelling last minute after having confirmed is pretty problematic. I can understand that it can be an added stress for the production if an extra calls out but I wouldn't have cancelled for something like a headache for example. Now I'm wondering if I should have sucked it up and still gone but it's supposed to be a 14h long shoot, that may go overtime. I don't believe I'd have been able to handle that while being this ill.

Will I get blacklisted?
