The no ammo no problems setup.

Compound bow with broad heads, quiet and the ammo is somewhat reusable. Good to around 100+ yards.

1864 rifled musket with pike bayonet. Black powder and lead balls are easier to make than modern cartridges and smokeless powder. Bayonet was good enough to poke confederate rebels so it's good enough to poke a zombies eye out.

Gerber machete. It slashes, it hacks, it dices, and it saws... kinda.

Gerber gator. Big and thick and has a heavy metal hilt for smashing windows or skulls.

M9 bayonet. It stabs and it can turn an m16 into a pointy stick.
