Same shirt, new day
First picture ~ 2 years ago, 240ish pounds, my highest weight Second pic ~ last week, 190lbs I'm 5'2"
I was so excited about the XL shirt two years ago when I bought it, but it was tight, very tight. And even after doing the put-your-arms-in-the-torso-of-the-shirt-and-stretch-it-out bit it was still too tight to wear "out" for my liking. I felt I had to do a weird pose where I leaned forward and pull it out in the belly a bit more to get a picture of me in it to show it off because on its own looked terrible. I relegated it to only wearing under a zip-up hoodie.
Last week I put it on without thinking and did a double take in the mirror when it didnt hang on any rolls this time, no stretching required (just wrinkly lol).
As a long time shopper of the small, forgotten plus size section, I am excited to be able to find clothes at more stores and thrift stores, and regain some personal style I feel I have been lacking instead of settling for what just fits.
