Need advice I’m totally unsure what to do

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working out for almost 3 years now, but I only started taking the gym seriously around July of last year. Since then, I’ve been going 4-5 times a week and have made some ‘okay’ progress. However, I’m still incredibly unhappy with my overall results, especially my belly fat, which has been an issue for over 10 years now.

I feel like I’ve tried everything… eating at a deficit, doing a bunch of cardio…and despite all this effort, it feels like I’m only losing muscle while the belly fat remains. It’s frustrating and demoralizing.

For context, the first picture is from 6 months ago, and the second one is recent. I know the changes might not look huge, but when I “hide” my belly, I can see how much my body has transformed. That said, my belly fat just won’t budge, and it’s driving me crazy!!

One thing I’ve noticed is that my right side seems to have lost more fat compared to my left, which is visible in the picture. However, when I look back at older photos, I realize that my right side has always been slightly “smaller” than my left. Right mow, it’s about half the size of the left side. I’m not sure if this is actual fat loss or something that’s always been the case.

I’m at a point where I’m so desperate that I’m starting to consider alternatives I might regret later.

If anyone has gone through something similar or has advice, I’d really appreciate some help. I just want to feel like I’m making progress and not wasting my time…
