I freaking hate Gwent

I hate this card game but its the only thing I never pursued in the W3 so I'm trying to do it now but Jesus Christ I suck.

I switched it to easy mode and still lost the Oxenfurt blacksmith 3 times in a row with his 40+ points to my 20- points.

WTF am I doing wrong? This guy was pulling magic cards out that were doublling his points, pulling more carrds ont the battlefield....and there I am trying to make cards that are worth 2 or 4 points do something that would make a difference.

it's super discouraging. I can kill any monster or group of monsters at a low level without fail but Gwent breaks my brain and soul everytime.
