The World we live today!

This is my personal opinion, not directed at anyone in this group or community, but the world feels very different from 20+ years ago when I first arrived: • Some people are fine with taking away H4/H1 and birthright citizenship because they already have it. • Mass shootings are acceptable to them as long as their kids are unaffected. • Rising drug prices don’t matter to them because they have good insurance or don’t need insulin. • Egg prices or groceries going up? Who cares—they can afford them regardless. • Women’s rights? What women’s rights? Their body, our choices. • Wear masks, stay home, or take COVID vaccines to help people around you? To hell with that—my body, my choice. • To hell with neighbors, family members, or anyone who doesn’t believe what they believe is true—they all can go to hell. • They support stripping LGBTQ+ rights because they don’t see them as equals. • Police brutality is excused if it targets minorities. • “Back the blue” only applies if it aligns with their supreme leader’s orders. • Rape and sexual assault are tolerated as long as it’s not their wife or daughter. • Corruption is ignored when it benefits their cult leader. • Neglecting victims of natural disasters, like in California, is acceptable because it hasn’t hit New Jersey yet. • No crime, no atrocity from their “rapist-in-chief” will make them speak out because their shared hate binds them.
