Albrecht Entrati and Continuity
I have a question about Albrecht Entrati, as I bet most of us do. He is shown to look like a traditional Orokin in the Necralisk and the Zariman, but when we physically see him he looks more human in appearance, still with the smile and Void ruined eyes.
Both versions are said to be correct, so I was assuming that Continuity was at play before the 1999 update, but it's revealed through conversation with the Hex members that he did not go through Continuity, refusing all of the Orokin embellishments.
So my question is this: is the Entrati that we see in 1999 the "real" Entrati, or merely a Conceptual Embodiment of Entrati's view of himself? Were the portraits in the Zariman and in HIS OWN LABS false?
The simplest answer is that two different creative directors have different creative visions of characters, but for one as important as Entrati, I wish that there was some "continuity" between the multiple depictions.
What are your thoughts? Let me know what you think and if you have your own interpretation of what's at play here.
P.S: if anyone also has an explanation of how Entrati actually arrived at 1999 in the first place that would be nice to hear as well. I get that our Drifter used Transference to get there (through the Vessels?), but from what I can tell Entrati did not have that capability, and he needed to have been at 1999 first to make the Vessels.
Lots of questions, so little time...
