Is WWE moving away from the long entrance ramps and big stages?

I have not watched wrestling in quite a while so maybe this is something that changed a while ago but, in a lot of the recent highlight videos I've seen from Raw, it looks like the entrances are much shorter and the stages aren't as massive as they used to be. Is there a reason for this change or does it just depend on venue?
