Planning a trip “low budget” trip to HNL.

My husband and I are planning a lower budget trip to HNL for the end of February and are looking for some cheaper hotels but still walkable to the beach. We came across Park Shore Waikiki Hotel. The reviews seem pretty mixed so I was hoping someone could leave some honest feedback about their experience. TIA!
