Fitness tracking apps

I briefly wore a fitbit (hate things on my wrists) and loved my MOTIV ring but haven't used any other trackers. But I'm a Velia backer and am (patiently) waiting for my ring.

The MOTIV was rudimentary by today's standards but their app was user friendly - easy to use and interpret. And I really loved that you could capture part of a day's steps and save it in you phone's photos. I kept a journal of those photos which really helped motivate me to walk, look around, pay attention.

But I really have zero expectations for the Velia app because they haven't revealed much and I've got nothing to compare it to.

You folks with other trackers&apps - what do you most love or hate or want?
