Cloud Key Gen 2's EAT through Drives
I manage alot of NVR's for customers. it seems like the Cloud Key Gen 2 eats drives for lunch. it seems like Every NVR has to have drives replaced every 1-2 years. Is this common for everyone els??
Its hard to look the cusomers and tell them yup your drive is going bad... later scans the of the drives are bad.
And its not just the crapy toshiba's that they put in their systems for first. i have put in other drives and they eat through them as well...
I personally belive that the drives get to hot with no air flow and the drive does not connect to the Aluminum shell to cool down.
