Times where you can really feel a Dev's passion for certain parts of their game over others parts?
So with Black Ops 6 this year... This has felt more evident than maybe any other year. Like, I enjoy the Multiplayer, but it feels like there is noticeably more issues with it than ever before, hackers, bugs, low quality of maps and such.
It's still fun, because CoD's gameplay on a certain level just is, but then when you swap over to Zombies, while not perfect, it just feels like that's where the care has gone into. Treyarch on Zombies is willing to more listen to feedback, making much more effort to include new players, more care is overall going into the story, and we're already getting our 2nd DLC Zombies map this month, the previous map came out last month.
While no series this long running will be able to please everyone, BO6 Zombies at least, seems like it has struck a decent balancing of making old and new fans happy.
And so it does sort of feel like Treyarch is doing MP out of obligation, but Zombies is where there real passion is.
So- what are other cases of this that people are aware of?
