A guy shouldn't get a vasectomy just because his partner doesn't want to get pregnant

I've heard people complaining about this and it sounds ridiculous. Firstly a woman who's the one who doesn't want to get pregnant can choose to permanently not want kids herself by opting for permanent birth control methods to ensure they will not have children. One common method is a tubal ligation, often referred to as "getting your tubes tied," which involves sealing or blocking the fallopian tubes to prevent eggs from reaching the uterus. There done, you're the one with the problem you get it sorted. What if the guy gets a vasectomy even though he wants children then his wife who made him get his vasectomy cheated and left him? Wouldn't that be a really stupid decision since he can't have kids anymore with another woman even if he wanted to. Yes by all means if a guy doesn't want kids get a vasectomy, but if a woman is pressuring him for it whilst he's unsure that's very wrong. Reverse the roles and imagine if a guy asked a girl to get her tubes tied because he didn't want kids he'd get downvoted to oblivion the woman would get told to divorce him and he'd lose half his wealth and assets. This is such a ridiculous take it's your body you make the choices for it.
