What do people think about modern day prophets?

There is someone in my family who follow prophets on YouTube that say God spoke to them about something that is going to happen in the world. He prophesied that trump is going to be president and is chosen by God and stuff like if 2027 goes smoothly the rapture will be delayed by 16 years or something in those lines. ( also Im very confused with the rapture. I thought Jesus second coming would just be the end of the world)

I’m honestly not used to this type of stuff but my family member believes everything the prophet says and even asked him to give him a prophetic message via email in which the prophet responded to and claims God told him to tell my family member this and that.

Just a little worried sometimes cause I think my family member gets carried away and I think someone claiming God spoke to them is a very serious thing.

Any thoughts?
