Protect-X Sensor

Anybody heard of this thing? The reviews are meaningless (or likely even fake) and it sounds overpriced for a tilt sensor. However I'm interested to know what open 'port' is under the steering wheel and what it's for. I'll also admit to being interested in having the capability to roll UP the windows with the OEM remote.
